Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MolHub ("the Service"), a web-based drug-discovery platform operated by Scar's Agent. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address to create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of your institution, to use the Service.

2. Plans and eligibility

  • Academic (free): available to users with a verified academic email (.edu, .ac.kr, .ac.uk, and similar). Includes a a monthly allowance of docking jobs and Copilot campaigns (current limits are shown on the billing page). Provided free of charge with no refunds applicable.
  • Basic and Pro (paid): billed monthly on an auto-renewing subscription through our reseller, Paddle.com. Quotas and features are described on the billing page.

3. Your data and content

You retain all ownership of molecules, datasets, structures, and other content you upload or generate ("Your Data"). You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Data solely to operate the Service for you. We may retain de-identified, aggregated analytics (for example, total docking jobs run) to improve the Service; such analytics do not identify you or reveal Your Data.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Do not upload data you are not licensed to use.
  • Do not use the Service to design, develop, or produce chemical, biological, or other weapons, controlled substances, or anything intended to cause harm, nor for any unlawful or dual-use purpose prohibited by applicable export-control or non-proliferation law.
  • The Service is provided for research purposes only. Outputs (docking scores, predicted properties, generated structures) are computational estimates and are not medical, clinical, diagnostic, or regulatory advice. You must not rely on them for clinical decisions, patient care, or regulatory submissions, and you are responsible for independently validating any result before acting on it.

5. Availability

We target 99% monthly uptime on a best-effort basis. The Service is provided "as is" without service-level credits. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scar's Agent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Upon termination, Your Data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted (see the Privacy Policy).

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be referred to arbitration administered by the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) in Seoul, conducted in Korean or English.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
